This Vis Dads event will be held at Herbie's Underground on April 6th. This is a private club/cigar bar in downtown St. Paul owned by Dave Brooks (Herb's brother) who, like Herb, was a Gopher hockey player and U.S. Olympian. There are 50 members, including various sports celebrities like Lou Nanne, Craig Leipold, Reed Larson, Roy Smalley, Tom Reid, and Ray Hitchcock, among others.
Thursday, April 6 is the big night of action from 6:30 - 10 PM! In addition to a MN Wild away game being played on all big screens, it's the NCAA semi-finals, so there's a chance the Gophers will be playing hockey this night as well.
There technically isn't an address and no signs to Herbie's Underground. You enter at a door under a blue light in the alley. Exact location will be given to those who participate in this special Vis Dads event!
Heavy appetizers from Jameson's Irish Bar and all libations will be served & inclusive of your $150 entrance fee - 100% of which shall go to Visitation School as a donation. First 75 men to sign up for this event are in! The rest will just have to hear stories after the fact - so don't miss out.
