Summer STEM Camp

The Twin Valley Council Boy Scouts, the Greater Mankato Rotary Club, the Mankato Family YMCA and the YWCA Mankato have teamed up to offer our Summer STEM Camp at Jack McGowan's Farm! Camp is open to all youth, boys and girls, who are entering 1st through 5th grade in Fall 2023. Camp will run Monday August 28th through Friday, September 1st, from 9am to 4pm each day. Cost is $150 per person with optional before and/or after care for an additional $30 for up to 5 days. Before care is 7am to 9am, and after care is 4pm to 6pm.

Campers will enjoy fun games, learn about the Earth and volcanoes, experience nature programs, build and shoot rockets, learn about aerodynamics, build and fly kites, archery and BB gun shooting, learn to safely build a fire, as well as the science behind fire, team building activities, and more! Each day will have a different theme. 

Campers are responsible for bringing their own sack lunch and a reusable water bottle. Additional snacks will be provided.   For more information, please contact Becky Sandquist at [email protected], or 507-387-3123.
