About the Artist:

Born in North Carolina, Scott studied at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He now lives in Haverford, PA. He has been in financial services for most of his adult working life. Now nearing retirement, he can be found outside in his garden, woodworking, creating sculpture pieces from old metal and painting (watercolor, acrylic, and oil).

Art to Make You Happy

Scott's works are mixed mediums (watercolor, oil, and acrylic) applied to paper, canvas, wood, and repurposed materials. They each represent a reflection of internal energy flowing freely from imagination to hand. Each piece is somewhat planned, but many allow for spontaneous and repeating patterns. Color and texture are applied to create playful, joyous and complex images for you to enjoy. Most are inspired by international and domestic US travel.

Scott's work hangs in galleries, private homes and businesses. His sculptures can be found in gardens of private homes.

Scott does commissioned pieces and gifts to friends and strangers with images ranging from people to lovable animals and memorable photos from special trips.
