Armando was born in Mexico. At age 5, his family moved to Colorado to pursue the American Dream. Armando submerged himself in visual & performing arts to communicate & find his identity as an ESL student. After developing his talents in high school, he decided to invest in them & earned a BA in Fine Arts from The University of Northern Colorado.
Armando is an artist, teacher & performer based in Greeley. Armando supports the community through performance paintings, engaging murals & an annual dance festival called Hip Hop Madness. His partnerships include the Children's Museum of Denver, Museo de las Americas, & the Rodarte Community Center, as well as numerous schools &nonprofit organizations.
