Montana is being called the Last Best Place and the fishing, even with lots of new anglers around, has never been better. The Yellowstone is the longest undammed river in the lower 48 and is a classic freestone stream with lots of Big Rainbows and Big Browns. The Hopper bite in July & August on the Yellowstone is world famous. The Upper Madison is often called the 70 mile riffle as it's water is riffled and clear providing for amazing fishing with a river loaded with fish. All Montana fish are wild as stocking was made illegal decades ago.

Bozeman is a very special town growing rapidly. It enjoys 300 days/year of sunshine - that's one more than Phoenix! It is a foodie heaven with loads of fine dining establishments to choose from. It can be hot in the sun, but the evenings and mornings in Bozeman are cool and the low humidity makes it very comfortable.
