4 Watchers

A lot has changed in wine production since St. Martin of Tours' donkey ate the tips of his vines
and invented viticulture. Thanks to that donkey,

Martin had more grapes than ever and pruning vines to increase production became the 4th century's new thing. Wine making probably originated with the Greeks, but we perfected it. The fruit of the vine and work of human hands has a place of honor in Catholic culture and these wines reflect that. From labels that honor saints to a Balzac story about a monk that saved his monastery, there is a good representation here of palate pleasing juice nurtured to perfection in honor of in vino veritas.

Bid high, and may the winner enjoy! You will even get a nice supply of beautiful glasses and a book that shows you how you can drink with the saints.
