Fifty-one beautiful fine art prints in a 14x20-inch slipcase, just over an inch thick. Prints measure 13x19 inches. An illustrated booklet, same size as prints, tells all about the renowned natural history artist, John Gould (1804-1881), and the bird family Ramphastidae, or toucans. Gould created his striking and vividly hand-colored toucan lithographs in the early 1850s. In these reproductions, the birds are featured against simple backgrounds and look ready to fly off the high-quality paper.
