What began as a row trial garden for seed varieties in 1933 has grown to encompass over 9 acres of display beds featuring over 1,300 different varieties of annuals, perennials, cut flowers, and vegetables, including the newest plants from the industry's leading breeders and marketers. We hope The Gardens at Ball spark some fantastic ideas! They've been designed by Douglas Hoerr Landscape Architecture to inspire visitors as they compare products in an exciting and innovative display - encouraging creative ideas for home garden and commercial settings.

Please schedule your 90-minute tour, followed by lunch at the on-site cafe, with Anna Ball by emailing [email protected]. Tour group can include up to ten guests. Tour date must be used by August 29, 2025, and is subject to availability and events already scheduled in The Gardens. Guests should wear comfortable shoes and expect to walk three-quarters of a mile. Walking paths range from concrete to pea gravel, but are wheelchair accessible.
