Enjoy a private and tailored art class with slide show presentation which will give you a two hour tutorial on one of the topics of your choice below. Salvatore will be able to answer questions and speak to the history and politics surrounding the era that you choose to study.

As a child, Salvatore Rondinelli's original playground were Italian ruins located in the lofty hills of Southern Italy, Calabria. On occasion, Salvatore would find an artifact, something old that demanded to be investigated. Where did it come from? Who owned it? What was it used for? Why was it here? Questions he asks to this very day when appraising art work in an auction or purchasing new wonders for his antique store, Medusa Gallery.

Salvatore Rondinelli was born in Serra San Bruno, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to America when he was fourteen. He received his BA from Iona university in New Rochelle, New York. After college he worked in media starting at an US Italian language newspaper and eventually moving to television production. He was a producer on a popular lifestyle show, "Life Italian Style" with Lynn Von Furstenberg. He then founded his own production company and began distributing European content for worldwide territories.

However, the art world was his first love and he dreamed of "retiring" and opening an antique store where he could spend time buying and selling artwork and antiques. In 2001, Salvatore open Medusa Gallery in New Paltz and has enjoyed his dream ever since.
