Around the bend is Marigny le Cahouet, a charming typical sleepy French village, with a bar, bread shop, provisions shop & post office. Just 10 minutes away is the medieval Town of Semur en Auxois, uncontestedly, one of the most picturesque towns in France. Flavigny-sur-Ozerain also close by, is where the famous film, 'Chocolat,' was filmed. A gorgeous village on top of a hill surrounded by a wall.
Inside the home are 5 spacious bedrooms, which all have bathrooms en suite and beds are super kings that can be split into generous twins. Modernized inside, it's complete with wifi, washer and dryer, up-to date kitchen and duo wine cellar.

Hidden Burgundy is situated in the middle of France in a landscape of valleys, vineyards, canals, rivers, medieval towns with an abundance of history. Rail links with the TGV high speed trains from the Paris airports and central Paris to the local station in Montbard is only 20 minutes away, with access to rental cars, is a great option for those taking the Eurostar or flying in from abroad.
