The Castle Inn Bed and Breakfast was built in 1895 by Samuel Ruggles but provides the luxury accommodations of the 21st century.

The Castle features the warmth of a Bed and Breakfast with the privacy of an Inn. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight with the family on the way to the Hocking Hills or the outdoor drama Tecumseh!

Located just 30 minutes south of downtown Columbus, Ohio in the home of the world famous Circleville Pumpkin Show. From hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, antique and flea shopping, wine tasting, to just reading and relaxing...... there are endless possibilities!

For a truly unique evening of fun and mayhem attend our monthly MURDER MYSTERIES held the last Friday of each month.

In the mornings, one of the Castle Inn cooks will entice you with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. Made of your choice of eggs, gourmet pancakes or our famous Apple French Toast and fresh juices, coffee, or tea... our breakfasts are made to get your day started right.

All rooms feature private baths, deluxe queen canopy beds, tv/vcr/dvd, fireplaces, and/or heartshaped jetted jacuzzis for two.

The Murder Mysteries are totally guest participant and are a blast, you don't have to have any acting skills nor memorize a script!
Just show up and want to have a good time.

We dress all of the guests in early 1900s attire and give everyone a character description. You then get to make up stories of your character during the evening. You may check in anytime after 5:00 pm.

The events of the evening start with social hour at 8 pm where we provide an hors d'oeuvres buffet and bar set up. We do ask guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages if they wish.
Social hour is then followed by a full sit down dinner and finishes up with dessert buffet.
The events of the evening are over around
10-10:30pm.

The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy the Castle, we then reconvene for the conclusion of the murder mystery over a full breakfast at 9:30am the following morning.
