Three Nights in this Beautiful Sperryville Country Home: You'll Never Want to Leave!

The minute you arrive at this lovely, 1920s clapboard home on 15 acres in Sperryville (Woodville, specifically), you will know you have truly put the DMV behind you (for a couple of days, at least!).

The main house sleeps six (6), with room for a few more in the nearby guest house. You'll want to explore, where you'll see a water garden constructed around the ruins of an old springhouse. A three-minute trail from the house leads to an aerie that literally crowns the property with 360 degrees of the best views anywhere. A glass gazebo is surrounded by a four- sided deck that highlights the sweeping views on all points of the compass. Roast marshmallows or enjoy your morning coffee by the fire pit or perched with you feet up in the gazebo. Old Rag Mountain commands the horizon to the southwest with Slaughter Mountain in the foreground and the Blue Ridge to the north.

A ten-minute drive to the historic town of Sperryville takes you to the popular Three Blacksmiths, the Sperryville Corner Store, Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen, The Headmaster's Pub, before & after, Griffin Tavern, Copper Fox Distillery, the River District Arts, Copper Fox Antiques and numerous other shops and art galleries. From Sperryville you can head to Skyline Drive, Luray and the Shenandoah National Park.Main House Accommodates Six (6): The house has three bedrooms (one downstairs with a full-sized bed and full bath en suite, and two upstairs bedrooms with a pair of twin beds in each room and a full bath on the same floor),

  • Guest House: Accommodates guests with two (2) pull-out sofas
  • Caution for those with allergies a dog has been in the house.
  • Expires 4/22/2024
