The Department of Art & Design provides scholarships to Valdosta State University art & design students for excellence in academic & studio research, potential for growth as artists, and to enrich the Valdosta arts community. Scholarship funds help students attend VSU and participate fully in campus life while developing as artists under the guidance of VSU art & design faculty.

Your generous support directly affects students who rigorously create works of art every year within a variety areas, from sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, interior design, graphic design, and small metals. Students receiving Art Scholarships are outstanding in their artistic achievement and contributions to the university and Valdosta community. Donors who contribute $100 or more are recognized on gallery programs, and social media for the academic year.
