One 3L Bottle of Stone Hill 2002 Norton

A hot dry season in 2002, generally bodes well for Norton. The 2002 was a bold and full-bodied smooth, yet spicy vintage with intriguing licorice notes. Winner of Double Gold at the International Eastern Wine Competition in New York and a sweepstakes medal winner at the San Diego International Wine Competition. Norton ages beautifully and this vintage is ideal to enjoy now!

The Norton grape is Missouri's official state grape and has an important history to the Missouri wine industry. Stone Hill has received the Best Norton C.V. Riley Award 4 of the past 5 years, as well as the American Wine Society (AWS) Best Native Varietal Wine the last 2 years in a row. Family owned and operated, Stone Hill Winery in its 3rd generation, farms its own vineyards with 28 acres of their 190 acres devoted to Norton.
