In 2020, Destin locals, Zane & Mindy Holscher, went from an everyday wine-loving couple to owning a vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina.

Zane, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, wanted to pay homage to those who have sacrificed their lives to protect others through their label, DEFENDERS. This label stems from a partnership with another military veteran vineyard owner, and features several varietals honoring The Fallen, Special Forces, Special Operations, and those on the Homefront.
