After 100 years of service and 15 years of vacancy, historic Fire Station One in downtown Roanoke, Va has reopened its doors. FS1 is located in the heart of downtown Roanoke, Va and allows prime access to Roanoke's walkable downtown setting. Enjoy boutique shops, museums, art galleries, breweries and restaurants all within a few blocks. Roanoke is also the Mountain Biking Capital of the East, with many scenic routes to bike, hike, kayak or stroll.

Located in the renovated 115-year old firehouse, FS1 offers seven luxury rooms from which to choose. During the renovation, designers worked to keep as much of the history as possible. You can still see old brass fire poles and historic pictures of firefighters are proudly displayed throughout the hotel.

The first floor of the Fire Station is a showroom for TXTUR, which is a local furniture maker. The entire lobby is filled with unique, custom-made furniture and local gifts. As you walk toward the back of the building, you will find the hotel's restaurant, Stock, where you will enjoy a gourmet dinner that specializes in Nordic Cuisine.
