Even more notably, Ret. Master Sergeant Leroy Arthur Petry, who served in company D, 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and is the recipient of the Medal of Honor prominently signed the piece! He is only the second recent living recipient of the Medal of honor for the war in Afghanistan.

Master Sergeant Petry was deployed several times to both Iraq and Afghanistan. On his seventh deployment, Petry was a member of a team on a mission to capture a Taliban target in the Paktia Province. Despite being injured in both legs by gunfire, Petry continued to fight and give orders. When a grenade landed between him and two other soldiers, Petry grabbed the grenade and attempted to throw it away from them. He saved the soldiers lives, but lost his right hand. He opted to reenlist in spite of his injury and actively served until his retirement in July of 2014.

Purchaser must take possession of the item immediately after the event. If the purchaser present at the event does not collect the item immediately after the event, the item may be shipped to the purchaser with purchaser responsible for all packing, handling and shipping costs upon the purchaser's request. If the purchaser fails to collect the item immediately after the event AND does not contact SOWW to request the item be shipped at the purchaser's cost, ownership of the item reverts back to SOWW with no refund of the purchase price.
