So you are buying tickets to attend, you are gathering your gal-pals, and you're ready to read Mary Laura Philpott's Bomb Shelter. Here are some details on what to expect on Thursday, April 6th!
- Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn
- 6:30-9:00 PM
- Light bites and two drinks are included in your ticket price. A cash bar will be open for additional beverages.
- Table and theater style seating is available on a first come first serve basis. There will be plenty of seating!
- Raffle items curated by the planning committee will be displayed. Tickets purchased on site! You'll go home with something amazing. Cash or credit available.
- Parking is plentiful including valet. Coat check available too.
We promise a cozy, yet lively evening among friends. Funds raised will go right into the program to support kids achieve and thrive academically and socially. We are so excited to see you!

2023 Literary Event Sponsor Donation Levels
This signature event gathers community leaders, local businesses & friends to support GECRC's programs.
$2500 Event Sponsor - An exclusive event sponsor's name and logo will be featured on all promotional materials, event signage, and a full-page advertisement in the program booklet. In addition two (2) representatives are invited to join Mary Laura Philpott for dinner on April 6th, will receive signed copies of "Bomb Shelter", and complimentary event tickets. The sponsor's business logo at this level will be used on the signature bookmark distributed with each book sale.
$1000 Publisher Level Sponsors - These sponsors will be gratefully acknowledged with their name and logo featured on all promotional materials, event signage, and recognized with a 3/4-page advertisement in the program booklet. In addition two (2) representatives will received signed copies of "Bomb Shelter" and complimentary event tickets.
$750 Chapter Level Sponsors - The chapter level sponsors will be recognized at the event bars where each guest will be offered two drinks with their ticket price. These sponsors will also be recognized on all promotional materials, event day signage and with a half-page advertisement in the program book.
$500 Editor Level Sponsors - Editor level sponsors will be gratefully acknowledged by name and logo features on promotional materials, event signage, and with a quarter-page advertisement in the program book.
$250 or more, Bookseller Level Sponsors - We welcome any level of community participation. Businesses will be featured on promotional materials, signage at the event, and recognized in the program book.
