This package has TWO options, depending on your skill level:

1. Whitewater Raft for 4 people down the Alberton Gorge- 1/2 day trip.

OR

2. Whitewater Raft for 2 people down the famous Lochsa River.

The Alberton Gorge is an amazing canyon section of the Clark Fork River. This 12 mile, class III whitewater run makes a perfect trip on a hot summer day. The Alberton Gorge near Missoula is the best summer whitewater in western Montana and makes a great addition to any Montana vacation. This river is appropriate for beginner paddlers and during the summer for kids six years and older, so bring the family!

The Lochsa River is one of the greatest whitewater flows in the country - and the world. Pronounced "lock-saw" which means rough water in the Nez Perce Language. 37 Class III, 25 Class IV, and 2 Class V rapids will get your arms burning and your heart pumping. The names of the rapids say it all - Grim Reaper, Pipeline, Lochsa Falls, Termination - and you won't get much rest between.

The Lochsa is a free-flowing river and navigable only during high water, this trip is available during May & June. Peak flows are usually mid-May to Mid-June and may be available in early July only when conditions allow.
