Description/Inspiration:

Butterflies represent the cycle of life and the many phases that we face within our lifetimes. Birth, transformation, and death are inevitably all a part of the process. It can all feel so beautiful and confusing at moments but yet we must continue on growing, spreading our wings, and learning to float through any breeze or gust of wind. Through these art pieces I hope to not only capture the pure beauty and radiance of each unique butterfly but to also add my own personal touch of good energy, love, and uniqueness. These butterflies are all original pieces of artwork with every aspect that is handmade and hand done. From the burning of the screens, for the detail within the butterfly, to the various and intentional layers of colors added. They have the ability to make a statement and shine in any space.

Artist Bio/Statement:

Siyowin is an up and coming multi-media artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She has taken much of her inspiration and color ways not only from the streets of the city but from her life purpose of sharing and spreading love through friendship, art, and color. Some of her most recent work focuses on the vibrant beauty of butterflies and defining the meaning of transformation, growth, and change. These butterflies are not only available for purchase online but can be seen throughout the various streets of Los Angeles as street art.
