Description/Inspiration:

The brand for this hat is Nu Trendz and the design inspiration was drawn from the hat itself. This was made with size 11 Japanese seed beads and size 13 permanent gold seed beads. The intricate designs and addition of the gold beads make this hat stylish and "extra". This made me think of the catchy song "Boujee Natives" by the Snotty Nose Rez Kids. This is a one size 100% cotton hat with adjustable snaps in the back.

Artist Bio/Statement:

I am a mother of two and i live in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I moved to Oklahoma from Kansas to be closer to my heritage and teach my children our culture. In reconnecting with my traditions, i have taken up beading as a hobby. I have really enjoyed creating beautiful pieces that have been gifted to family and friends or purchased and enjoyed by my supporters. I put my love and good intentions into every piece i create and hope to share the happiness with those who receive my artwork.
