Description/Inspiration:

This dreamcatcher is one of the last willow hoops of the 2022 season as all my willow hoops are harvested and twisted into shape by me and the season is almost over now so now more harvesting till next year. For this dreamcatcher I used flower agate for peace and harmony, fire crackle agate for protection and its yellow color symbolizes the sun and how it rises each day.

Artist Bio/Statement:

I am a 37 year old mother of a 7 year old son. I am Woodlands Cree/Metis. I am the Daughter of a 60's scoop baby, my uncle never made it home. I started weaving dreamcatchers when i was only 7 years old and then unfortunately lost my path. 4 years ago i felt the pull to start weaving again and i haven't looked back. I am happiest when i am weaving. Helping others to heal, heals me.
