Description/Inspiration:

Chaotic landscape scene with movement depicted in colorful energy. Symbolism combined with various painting techniques, scattered across the canvas. Interwoven aerosol and acrylic paints with crisp cuts and wet/dry brush applications. Charlie Brown is haunted by the ominous rain cloud that hovers his crown. Unknowingly, bummed out by the circumstances and perspective, he is soaked with water is life... yet it will take years for this gift to dawn on him as something significant. French cleated, custom build panel with wooden frame.

Artist Bio/Statement:

Joeseph Arnoux (Piikani/Sp'q'n'i) works diligently and steadily in Albuquerque, NM as a teaching artist, cyclist mentor, and muralist. Originally born in Spokane, WA and raised in Holland, MI, he moved to the South West in 2010. He currently attends Institute of American Indian Arts, where he studies Studio/Fine Arts and mentors with Native American Community Academy. His focus is in two- and three-dimensional works consisting of drawing, printing, painting, photography, small metals/jewelry, beading/weaving, etc.
