Description/Inspiration:

For the Halloween season,I made a fan art of the infamous monster from " Little shop of horrors" this horror movie, unfortunately had a bleak ending where spoiler alert: the plant spreads across all stores in the USA, and they terrorize the country, here however; I reclaimed that narrative, since the visuals of NYC's , buildings being pushed over by giant plants (many of which are so large the windows, confuse and kill hundreds of bird species") a hyper- urban traumatized land , was weirdly satisfying to see, therefore, I decided to give it a more hopeful ending instead. I chose to interpret it as the mother nature reclaiming what is hers and punishing humans for their sins against one another. In the " Harley Quinn show" Poison ivy has the same plant, and in Monster High, Venus Mcflytrap seems to have one as well, in my scenario maybe one of them owns this plant, Since being plant based women, neither would be eaten , his name is "Chewy" and he is very well trained, so he exclusively eats cruel people who intentionally hurt the environment. In this picture instead asking the character " Seymour to feed him, he is asking his owner to feed him his favorite snack; colonizers. A take on the saying " eat the rich" if you will.
