Artist Bio/Statement:

Anthony Deiter - Plains Cree/Saulteaux is a contemporary storyteller, employing CG, computer technologies and paintings to communicate the story of North America's Aboriginal people through references to his own history. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Cinematic Arts, Gaming and Virtual environments at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His work has been shown Internationally and in numerous galleries and museums throughout Canada and the US, including the Venice Biennale (Imago Mundi collaborative) Venice Italy, The Grand Palais in Paris, France, the National Museum of the American Indian (New York City), Pou Kapua, New Zealand, Mendel Art Gallery (Saskatoon, Canada), 2 Rivers Gallery (Minneapolis), Museum of the Red River (Idabel, Oklahoma), Institute of American Indian Arts Museum (Santa Fe).
