The artist of this piece is age 21 and battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). "I created this picture because I like Nike and if you didn't know, Nike means "victory," and we as humans try to succeed and be victorious. What I like about my picture is that it represents leukemia and as I, myself am battling leukemia, I get motivated by my drawing. Art helps me because I can express my emotions and my way of thinking by using different colors and materials."
