Amy (Live Auction Item 11/5/22 @Gala)

By Mary Molnar

12" Small Butterfly

Amy is a magical creation born of the inspiration of the famed Four Peaks Amethyst mine. Artist Mary Molnar has been fascinated by God's creation and the earths stones that he made. "Amethyst is one of the most beautiful stones on earth," says Mary, "and I thought combining the butterfly with amethyst crystals would make a great art piece. Amy really sparkles with the added gold leaf accentuating her beautiful wings."

Amy is made of pure amethyst crystals and gold leaf.

Mary Molnar has lived in Fountain Hills the last three years and as been in Arizona for 20 years. She las always loved art and beautiful things - mostly in creation. She was interested in art forever. She went on to get her Bachelors of Science in Art and has done consignment works, murals and markets.
