A very favorite item with students, and Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Vander Klok are offering it again this year!

Two students are invited to take the driver's seat at the WCGS front desk during the busy and exciting hours of the school day alongside Mrs. Vander Klok and Mrs. McDonald.

This is the most important job in any school because you are the welcoming face of the school! It's important to know WHO everyone is and WHERE everything is! You must answer questions and know so many things.

The first task will be to create official photo ID badges to wear for the day. While there is no such thing as a typical day, some tasks will include greeting students and visitors, writing tardy passes, tracking attendance, sorting and delivering mail, transferring phone calls, and creating an official "Staff Memo".

Students will have the opportunity to use the walkie-talkie radios, to navigate the security cameras, and to make announcements over the loud speakers. They will learn the secret to unlocking the front door for visitors and the back door for vendors!

This experience will include a special drink or treat to enjoy.

Limited to 2 students.

(We will work with the teachers to create an appropriate schedule for the day. Students will be in the office during the "busy times", and will spend some time in class so as not to miss any important lessons or exams.)
