About the Artist:
Impressionist painter based in Georgia.
In India, I started out as a portrait and sculpture artist. In later years, the use of color abstraction to improve realism has become more central tomy style and themes.
On canvas, I mostly work with oils and acrylics
and application tools like palette knives. In
some of my paintings, I have explored the
sgraffito and impasto techniques.
Some of my accomplishments include entering
painting competitions, participating in numerous juried art shows and in a national gallery, and creating illustrations for a magazine in India.
My training in art was with a well known portrait painter in India at Chitra mandir where I learnt portrait and landscape painting.
My painting style and concept:
Simple shapes and color blocks that communicate with one another are what set my paintings apart from others. I try to engage the audience in passive communication. Simple seascapes and landscapes serve as the foundation for the composition of my works. Due to
the deep spectrum pigments and color integrity of acrylics, I favor them.
Our brains begin to form outlines on the color
patches we observe as early as early infancy. When it comes to conserving optical resources, colors are seldom given much attention unless they are
distinctive.
Various retinal cells see color and brightness, and our brains process them using additive superposition logic to produce millions of different hues.
Our perceptions are heightened when unfamiliar hues appear in a familiar context. I make use of this aspect of our
