This item will be auctioned off during the program.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to spend a serene fall weekend on a 38-acre private reserve with amazing views of the Mississippi and Chippewa Rivers. Bella Vue (bellavue.org) is an 1880 homestead situated on an expansive river bluff near the fun river town of Wabasha, under the Mississippi River flyway with great bird-watching during migration.
You and up to five guests will enjoy a 4-day / 3-night stay at this historic, former bed & breakfast. The property features a private walking trail along the bluff overlooking the Mississippi with a covered lookout, 10 acres of landscaped grounds, a small apiary, Koi Pond and fire-pit.
FMR supporters Susan & Kevin Grelling own this unique property, which is currently undergoing ecological restoration. Susan has generously offered to host a walking tour of the ongoing land restoration work, as well as a beekeeper's tour and honey tasting from the onsite apiary. In addition, the lucky winner will take home a Bella Vue t-shirt and honey from the property tonight.
This homestead is not available to book outside of this offering. The winning bidder will work with the homeowner to schedule their stay sometime between September and November 2023, excluding Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekends.
