Linda approaches photography as a means to communicate, just as if it is a language, that helps her to share with others some of what she sees every day, but perhaps in a slightly different light! Her goal is to make these moments that we experience in our day to day travels a moment that is remembered and cherished. Linda truly loves photography, the intimacy of looking into the eyes of one of the pets that she might be shooting or to zoom into the belly of a flower. She remembers when she would spend time under the pier and seeing the splendor that is walked over and ignored. She wanted to capture this moment and see the usually unseen! Something as simple as a wildflower on the side of the road, can become its own universe when captured with the camera and she always wanted to share that. Linda Garcia finds that the North State provides numerous opportunities for her to capture the majestic mountains, rivers and lakes surrounding this beautiful area. She loves documenting this beauty along with the everyday simple things that are around us all, every day.
