Are you and your friends fans of bourbon? Well, that reason alone is cause for celebration and a perfect excuse to participate in a bourbon tasting at Brooklawn Country Club. Of course, you could just crack open some bottles and let people casually drink, but you could also make this into a true learning session.

Hosted by Brooklawn Country Club member and bourbon connoisseur Greg Keeley and Operation Hope Board Member Deborah Keeley, this bourbon tasting for six people showcases six distinct styles of American whiskey and guests have the opportunity to discuss how the region plays an important role in each one. Tasting selections include: Kentucky Owl, Four Roses, Jefferson's, Blanton's, W.I. Weller, E.H. Taylor Jr, and Pappy Van Winkle. This tasting offers a diverse range of American producers and interesting stories of the history of each Distillery and their brands. In addition to the tasting, learn how the history of Bourbon has grown and evolved from the original settlers, through the prohibition until the resolution was passed by Congress in 1964 declaring it America's native Spirit.
