Interested in learning volleyball?

Profe Carly played volleyball from middle school through college and is now a youth volleyball coach with Fusion, offering a lesson session for ISLA students! We will work on the four moves of volleyball--serving, passing, setting, and hitting--no net necessary!

The event will take place at the ISLA gym one day after school and all students grades 3-5 are welcome to sign up.

Students should come in athletic clothes and gym shoes- Volleyball knee pads if they have some, but not required.

Please also bring a snack and a water bottle.

Come celebrate March Madness by participating in the 2nd annual ISLA March Madness 3-on-3 tournament!

This event is open to current 4th & 5th graders.

March Madness participants will meet at the ISLA gym at 2:00 pm on Sunday March 23rd. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. The teams will be formed with the aim of creating a balanced and fair tournament experience for everyone.

Players will have open gym / practice time from 2:00 - 2:30 pm. At that point they will be placed into teams for a 3-on-3 tournament with a former ISLA student coaching each team. The tournament will be double elimination so everyone will get a chance to play plenty of basketball!

We'll wrap up at 4:00 pm. A light snack and sports drink will be provided. Feel free to bring a water bottle if you'd like.

Come ready to play in gym clothes and athletic shoes and be ready for some basketball fun! Please leave jewelry at home.

There will be 2 parents on-site organizing and helping along with the ISLA alumni.

Join 9 other ISLA parents for a fun Minnehaha scavenger hunt! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with this Let's Roam scavenger hunt package! This interactive experience combines exploration, laughter, and challenge into one incredible outing.

Using the Let's Roam app, our group will embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure in and around Minnehaha Falls.

Solve puzzles, answer trivia, and snap hilarious photos as you uncover hidden gems and local landmarks. This scavenger hunt is guaranteed to be a blast, and a great way to connect with other ISLA parents.

The specific date for this scavenger hunt will be chosen by the group. Total walking distance will be about 1 mile, and will take about 90 minutes, plus hang out time afterward.

Each ticket is for one adult with a role to play in the scavenger hunt. Purchase 2 for a couple.
