About the Associate Board of CASL
The purpose of the Associate Board (the "AB") of the Chinese American Service League ("CASL") is to support and contribute to CASL's programs and mission while developing the next generation of CASL leadership. AB members use their collective resources, skills, ideas and energy to support, develop, expand upon, and raise awareness of CASL's programs and services. Participation in the AB offers leadership, networking and service opportunities to dedicated young professionals in the greater Chicago area.

More info on mentoring:
CASL's teen mentoring program was organized by the Associate Board in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago ("BBBS"). This program pairs young professionals with students in the CASL Youth Program. The program consists of guided sessions every other week at CASL's Teen Center, in which mentors and mentees participate in guided group mentorship activities organized by BBBS and structured one-on-one discussions. The program also organizes visits to nearby colleges and universities to encourage college application and attendance.

About CASL
CASL is an all-inclusive non-profit agency with over 40 years of experience connecting families and individuals with the vital support they need: providing an educational and cultural foundation for our children, ensuring our seniors live full and independent lives with dignity, enhancing education and training for tomorrow's workforce, putting immigrants on the pathway to citizenship, securing our community's housing and financial well-being, navigating healthcare systems and wellness resources, and fighting for equal access to justice. Since our founding, CASL has been rooted in the principles of equity and justice. That legacy continues to shape our efforts today as we strive to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility at all levels of the organization.
