Explore various elements of whiskey production that create unique tasting experiences, presented by the President of the Single Barrel Whiskey Club, Rick Baye. The four bottle lineup will all be from Elijah Craig, meaning the initial distillate was the same at the beginning of the process. Three out of four bottles featured are "allocated", meaning they are not readily available on store shelves. The bottles are: 1. Elijah Craig Small Batch - The most straightforward and readily available product. Experience a straight bourbon without any additional elements brought into the maturation and bottling process.
2. Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel - Experience how the whiskey changes when moved to a second "toasted" barrel for additional aging. 3. Elijah Craig 18 Year - Experience how ultra aging changes the whiskey (most bourbons are 4-8 years old). 4. Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch A123 - Experience the whiskey at "Barrel Proof", which means no additional water is added prior to bottling to reduce the proof. Event will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 6:30pm at 1080 Shadow Lane, Green Bay (Lambeau Party House) in finished garage, allowing folks who sign up to bring cigars (if desired, not included). A variety of light snacks and water will also be provided. $80 per person, only 20 open spots.
