Join a WD4C dog and handler team for a survey in or around Missoula. You'll receive a first-hand look at the work that our dogs are doing in your own backyard. Choose your adventure and be prepared for a fun day in the field hiking with some amazing furry friends.

WD4C dogs are being used to collect fecal DNA and establish population monitoring in key areas for grizzly and black bears. These data will allow us and others to help monitor the populations. It will also help decrease bear conflict in urban areas and help provide more information about critical linkage zones to encourage safe passage (under and overpasses) for wildlife.

This event can accommodate between 2-4 people and includes a gift card for lunch at Bernice's Bakery, and a gift card for wine at Missoula Wine Merchants, making this a perfect afternoon experience!
