MIBA Friends and Supporters,
In light of the ongoing tragic events unfolding in Israel, we will be postponing our upcoming Taste of Two Nations fundraiser and awards ceremony scheduled for this Thursday, October 12th. The acts of violence impacting all Israelis are unprecedented, and we feel this is a time to unite rather than celebrate innovation and economic growth.
For those of you who have supported the event through sponsorship or ticket purchases, we are more than willing to provide a refund if you prefer not to apply your contribution to the rescheduled Taste of Two Nations. Alternatively, if you wish to donate your Taste of Two Nations contribution to the MIBA, we will allocate a portion of it to Israel's national emergency medical service, Magen David Adom.
Magen David Adom is at the forefront of saving lives in Israel and is equivalent to the American Red Cross, responsible for emergency pre-hospital medical care and blood services in Israel.
"When someone in Israel calls 101 - the emergency phone number for reaching Magen David Adom (MDA)-it takes only two to three seconds on average until someone answers the phone, significantly less time than in most developed countries. Even more remarkable is that MDA's cutting-edge Command and Control System ensures that the response to that emergency will be extremely fast and efficient, with logistic decisions handled by artificial intelligence" (Source).

We apologize for any inconvenience that this late notice may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding during these challenging times for our Israeli team and community of friends and supporters. Should you have any questions, please reach out to the MIBA Director of Operations, [email protected].
In Partnership,
