Remember CSS's outgoing School Counselor Heidi Cooper with her musical CD, La Mariposa. Heidi can often be seen roaming the campus with her guitar and heard gracing Lower School children with her beautiful singing voice.

Heidi offered these words on a website about her music: Regardless of our political or religious world views, the challenges of the warming of our planet and the sustainability of its resources affect us all. Each of our lives has become a palette for world change, and we all struggle to understand how to best participate in creating a better and healthier planet and healthier lives for ourselves. Blessings of peace, good health, and happiness to you. And I hope you enjoy the music.

At the close of the school year, Heidi will be relocating to the East Coast to be with family. Heidi's most notable achievements during her brief tenure at CSS have been the creation of a robust student advisory program, built specifically on outside resources and guest speakers and focused on relevant issues in CSS students' and teachers' lives. Heidi has chaired the CSS Wellness Committee founded this school year and has assisted in leading many workshops aimed at building community.
