**About the Artist Lisa Inglert**

"I handcraft all of the beads in my jewelry myself from glass rods from Italy, Germany, China, and the U.S. using a propane torch. The beauty of my work is based in the material itself: waves of light frozen in glass. I practiced architecture for many years before becoming a glass bead artisan. The beads are the foundation of my unique jewelry designs that draw inspiration from a broad variety of influences from the retro patterns of the 1950's to the organic forms of branches and stones. I joke that playing with fire is the favorite part of my day."
