My name is Gavin Legett and I am a Champion Candidate for Best Buddies! Together we can help fight for inclusion! I'm joining this fight to bring our community together. It's a fight for inclusion! Inclusion is providing opportunity to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities that may not currently exist in our world. About Best Buddies: Best Buddies International is a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). With your support, Best Buddies will help more people form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.

About Gavin: I was born and raised in Normal, Illinois. I am a 2018 graduate of Normal Community High School and am currently attending Illinois State University. I am the Assistant General Manager for the Normal CornBelters, Kernels Collegiate League, and the Corn Crib. I am so thankful to be a part of this journey and can't wait to see how we can impact the future today!
