Did you ever want to know what it takes to be an actor? You can learn with this 30 minute Zoom call with Peabody award-winning actor Kenneth "Kenny" Johnson, who currently stars as 'Dominique Luca', a third-generation SWAT officer, on the CBS series S.W.A.T!

Kenny will also star in a pivotal role in season 2 of the acclaimed Paramount+ thriller series MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN.

His most recent work includes the independent feature HOWL; the action film CHECK POINT opposite Bill Goldberg and William Forsythe; Afonso Poyart's SOLACE, opposite Anthony Hopkins, Jefferey Dean Morgan, Abbie Cornish, & Colin Farrell; and Soham Mehta's RUN THE TIDE opposite Taylor Lautner and Constance Zimmer.

Kenny is probably best known for his portrayal of fan favorite Detective Curtis "Lemonhead" Lemansky on the critically acclaimed FX series THE SHIELD. The series won the Golden Globe for Best Drama as well as various other awards. Kenny was also the recipient of the Peabody Award for his work on THE SHIELD.

From there he went on to star as the series lead opposite Holly Hunter on the well-received SAVING GRACE. He also starred as Matt Webb, Detective Jane Timoney's (Maria Bello) contractor boyfriend on NBC's gritty crime drama PRIME SUSPECT. He then was a series regular for the critically acclaimed shows A&E's BATES MOTEL opposite Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore and on ABC'S SECRET AND LIES opposite Juliet Lewis.

Kenny spent two years as Herman Kozik, Sargent in Arms and muscle for Tacoma chapter of SAMCRO on the critically acclaimed FX series SONS OF ANARCHY opposite Charlie Hunnam and Ron Pearlman. His previous television work also includes NBC's CHICAGO FIRE, USA's COVERT AFFAIRS, Showtime's DEXTER, and USA's BURN NOTICE.

Kenny got his start in acting with roles in films such BLADE, MAJOR LEAGUE 3, and AT HOME WITH THE WEBBERS, opposite Jennifer Tilly.

Kenny was born in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up on a 30-acre farm in Vermont where he owned a raccoon. He attended central Connecticut state university where he played football and baseball on a scholarship.
