Spend a day in the Sagamore blacksmith shop under the tutelage of David Woodward, Artist- Blacksmith and owner of Train Brook Forge. As part of the package, the winning bidder and guest will also get a two night stay in camp to enjoy all that Great Camp Sagamore has to offer!

Mr. Woodward has been smithing since 1986 and has spent the last 20 years demonstrating for the tours and guiding projects for the "Grands' Camp".

The winner will have the opportunity for one to two people to explore the ancient art of moving metal in the historical setting of Great Camp Sagamore. Any skill level is welcome!
The day will start with a discussion of the safety precautions necessary for working in the forge and an introduction to the tools to be used. The rest of the day will be customized to the interest and ability of the
winning bidder.

The winning bidder will be responsible for contacting Mr. Woodward at Train Brook Forge to find a date that works for both parties and will also be responsible for contacting the registrar at Great Camp Sagamore to
ensure there is a room available on their selected date.
