Chairman's Reserve 1931, St. Lucia

Tribute to the rum philosophy and craft established by Denis Barnard. This flagship product is a blend of distillates from St. Lucia Distillers Coffey still and three copper Pot Stills, aged in Bourbon casks from 7 to 12 years. Ninety percent of the blend is traditional molasses rum, while ten percent is agricultural rum Pot distilled from sugarcane grown at St. Lucia Distillers. Vibrant medium gold in color with a subtle bronze hue, the character of the rum is highlighted by the expressive aromas of honied raisins and vibrant toasty oak notes followed by hints of leather, spice and tobacco. Notes of dark chocolate mints, tobacco, and wood spice play alongside bright fruits, banana, grassy freshness, herbs, and caramel in an impressive and carefully considered harmony.

Clément Cuvèe Homére Rhum Vieux, Martinique

This rare rum is distilled from sugarcane juice, typical of Martinique, and proudly wears the "AOC Martinique" designation signifying an exemplary degree of expertise in every stage of production. This rhum agricole earned a score of 97 points from Wine Enthusiast, which named it one of the Top 50 Spirits of the Year. This rum is an expert blend of the best Bourbon barrels from 7-15 years old as chosen by cellar master Robert Peronet. There is flavor from cane syrup along with orange marmalade, dried figs, dried apricots and dates. In contrast to the sweet imagery, however, the rum is ultimately very dry. Digging deeper, the smoke and tobacco notes pervade. The finish is dominated by a symphony of licorice/anise/fennel notes.
