"Lobster Pot", acrylic on canvas, measuring 32X42", signed "Taro" and dated 1984.

Vincent is the son of deceased Provincetown abstract artist Taro Yamamoto (October 29, 1919 - June 12, 1994) Taro was a student of the Hans Hofmann School of Fine Arts in New York City and belonged to the New York School Abstract Expressionist artists whose artistic innovation by the 1950s had been recognized across the Atlantic, including Paris. He lived in Wellfleet and died in Provincetown in 1994 of lung cancer. His work is represented in museum and private collections. The work donated is untitled but shows partial Lobste Pot , acrylic on canvas measures 32x42", Signed "Taro" and dated 1984
