Multiple James Beard- and Emmy-award winning chef Andrew Zimmern captivates millions through food-but did you know one of his passions is ocean advocacy and sustainable seafood? Joined by sustainable seafood expert and ethical aquaculture champion Jennifer Bushman, chef Zimmern will present an innovative and delicious take on "Blue Foods" at the Beard House, with a menu that will celebrate the ocean's bounty.
Highlighting seafoods that are not only delicious, but sustainably cultivated and
harvested, this experience will include:
- A private canapés reception with chef Andrew followed by a 4-course dinner featuring a selection of delicious and sustainable seafood for up to 24 guests
- Remarks about the Blue Foods movement from Jennifer Bushman, a pioneering culinary communicator with an extensive background in sustainable aquaculture
- Dinner will be held at the historic James Beard House in the West Village of New York City
- Beverage pairings will be curated from and provided by the Distinguished Vineyards and Wine Partners portfolio, which includes: Argyle, MacRostie, Markham, Wither Hills, Textbook, Dough, Huntaway Reserve, Inkberry, and The Counselor
- Scheduling dependent on mutually agreeable date for the winning bidder and featured participants, and to be fulfilled no later than November 11, 2023
