A Tribute to Freds

For decades, Freds, located on the 9th floor of Barneys Department Store, was a New York fixture where the chic and inventive met the classics. With Freds' shuttering in 2020, acclaimed chef Mark Strausman now offers many of the Freds greatest hits at his new restaurant, Mark's Off Madison. But, for a night, the best of old New York and Mark's passionate reinvention of New York classics will be yours to enjoy at the Beard House. As an extra special touch, your dinner will include exceptional wine pairings curated from our Chair Emeritus Fred Seegal's private wine collection!

This private event for up to 24 Guests at the James Beard House includes:

• Private hors d'oeuvre reception and seated fabulous 4-course tasting menu courtesy of chef Mark Strausman
• Dinner will be held at the historic James Beard House in the West Village of New York City
• One-course pairing of Napa Valley red wine from Fred Seegal's own legendary private cellar of fine wines

Scheduling depending on mutually agreeable date for the winning bidder and featured participants.
