Fund-A-Need: New Camp Bus

With three sites spread across the state of Minnesota, we often need to transport campers and retreat guests from one site to another. During the summer months, campers and staff make weekly trips to and from Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer and Camp House, north of Two Harbors. These bus rides can be a fun time for fellowship, but our bus has become increasingly uncomfortable and unsafe in the past few years, making for a less than fun experience?

We take camper and retreat guest safety very seriously. After many years and miles on the road, it was time to retire the old green bus, as it no longer met our standards for safety. This past spring, we purchased a new camp bus in partnership with Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer! This was an urgent, unbudgeted purchase as the summer camp season was just around the corner! This new bus is much more comfortable, with cushy seats and undercarriage luggage compartments, and provides a safer ride for campers and retreat guests. This new blue bus is going to play a vital role in providing a safe and memorable experience for our summer campers!
