You will receive a custom-made pair of the finest boots in the world!! The boot style is named "AL's SAFARI" after Leddy owner Al dos Santos. Al designed and fabricated these boots to his own requirements for both comfort and durability. They are of the finest craftsmanship in the world and will give the wearer years of comfort and use!

You will pick the leather for your custom boots. Choices include Bison, Crocodile, Cayman, Elephant, Ostrich, and many others. Each material has its own unique look and feel. These boots are not one-size-fits-all, either. They measure each customer's foot individually and craft the in-sole specifically to that person's foot shape, thus allowing for maximum comfort.

With the expert advice that Leddy owners Al and Deborah dos Santos provide, the process is less daunting.

James Leddy began a tradition of building custom boots with an attention to detail those other bootmakers can't match. He loved making boots. That legacy continues even after Leddy's death in 2003 and is found in every pair of boots made by James Leddy Boots in Abilene. They don't just make boots; they LOVE making boots.

Each boot requires a minimum of 14+ man hours of labor to craft from start to finish. Every step is performed by hand, with only the occasional assistance from machines. Customers from all over Texas, the U.S., and other parts of the world have sent in their designs that have been turned into one-of-a-kind pieces of footwear.
