Private Tasting for four guests plus a 1.5L magnum of cabernet franc at McKenzie-Mueller Winery!

Up to four people may attend this private tasting. The event will be held outdoors in our picnic area, nestled amidst the rolling hills of the Los Carneros growing region of Napa Valley. A true back roads experience, our 50-acre estate is family owned and operated, and employs old world winemaking techniques in the crafting of small lot wines. We proudly produce award winning unfiltered reds and whites, with only estate grown grapes from Los Carneros and Oak Knoll American Viticulture Areas. Come escape to our peaceful backyard, enjoy the views, good company, and hand-crafted wines. The highest bidder will also receive a magnum (1.5L) of our 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc-- picked up at the winery upon completion of the tasting.

As with all the Cabernet Francs that we produce, the 2003 is a blend of our fruit from Oak Knoll AVA and Los Carneros AVA estate vineyards. It has a beautiful bouquet - very expressive - with notes of crushed red pepper, dried cranberries, and ripe cherries among additional concentrated and savory notes, along with earthy undertones of dried forest floor. The 2003 is aging beautifully, showing firm, yet polished, structure and could easily age for another decade or longer, especially in this limited larger format.
