This seated tasting in our contemporary Vineyard View Room & Deck will allow guests to enjoy a selection of current release award-winning wines while taking in the panoramic views across the Napa Valley from our Rutherford bench overlook.

Hospitality professionals will lead you through ZD's 55-year history, winemaking, and eco practices.

Also enjoy the following bottles:

2022 Chardonnay

This Chardonnay displays beautiful undertones of a golden hue hinting at an upcoming treat for your senses. Aromas of crème brûlée, green apple, and Meyer lemon zest mingle with tropical fruits reminiscent of ripe pineapple and mango. The palate follows through as rich and lush, highlighting characteristics of guava, lime zest, and caramelized banana foster. In ZD's signature California Chardonnay style, the wine is vibrant, bright, and has a long-lasting finish with great acidity and vanillin notes.

2022 Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir has a beautiful garnet rose color to the rim of the glass. Aromas of ripe raspberries and fresh-picked strawberries blend with hints of baking spice and black tea notes. The palate is full and lush with mingling flavors of berry jam with just the right amount of toasted oak nuances. Balanced with a bright and lingering finish, this wine is drinking wonderfully now and will age nicely for years to come.

2021 Cabernet

This 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet has a beautiful deep ruby color and complex aromas of cassis, black cherry, and clove with subtle hints of baking spice, cola, and toasty vanilla. The palate expresses an ample core of red-black fruits with soft tannins and moderate acidity that is perfectly balanced and integrated with the toasted American Oak. This wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to develop and gain complexity for many years to come.
